At Delamere Academy, the spiritual and moral development of our children underpins all aspects of our school life. Religious Education (RE) is an important subject at Delamere Academy. It is part of the curriculum and is taught in accordance with the Cheshire West and Chester Agreed Syllabus for Religious Education (2013). Teaching focuses mainly on Christianity, whilst taking account of the other principal religions in Great Britain, teaching children values of tolerance and respect for the beliefs of different people.

Religious Education is linked to collective worship, and we have close links with our local church, St. Peters. We embed the school values of 'peace, care, love and respect' throughout different aspects of school life.
