This week in our maths work we have moved onto measurement and have been exploring measuring length and height as well as weighing objects using scales.

On Tuesday the children were able to practically weight objects using a range of different types of scales. In partners children used either electronic scales or balance scales to explore the weight of different objects.

This week in literacy we have finished writing our twisted narrative and will be using these as part of the 500-word competition that NWAT is running.

The children have taken part in two swimming sessions this week that they absolutely loved. It was so lovely seeing them when they arrived back so excited and enthusiastic about it. They even suggested that they go swimming everyday! Next week our swimming sessions are on Wednesday and Thursday and the children will need to come to school in their PE kits on each of these day.

We hope you’ve had a lovely weekend.
